Why is the aesthetics of the eyelid and its surroundings important?

The eyelids and the area around them are one of the areas where signs of aging are most obvious and first appear. The increase in aging in this area causes the person to look constantly tired, sleepless and unhappy. Using the forehead muscles to constantly lift the eyelids causes wrinkles and headaches in the long term. The aesthetics of this area are very important for the person to look and be perceived as young, attractive and dynamic.

What is eyelid aesthetics and what is its purpose?

It is a procedure that eliminates excess skin and sagging in the upper eyelid, and bags and excess skin in the lower eyelid. In addition, if there is drooping (ptosis) in the upper eyelid due to muscle weakness, the lid can be lifted higher by simultaneously tightening the muscle.

What is the longevity of eyelid surgery?

As the aging process continues as a human being, faces that have undergone a facelift will continue a natural aging and sagging process. However, this situation never returns to the pre-operative state and the patient always looks younger and more beautiful than their normal age. The increase and continuity of permanence may vary depending on the patient's skin thickness, quality, and the technique used and the procedure performed.
